If you are a peace or environmental artist and you want more exposure for your work, you can have a gallery on this site. FREE. Contact us using the contact form above.
This is the blog for Antiwarartists.com.
This website is a collaborative effort and will show the world that strong opposition to war and senseless death and destruction, is alive and well. The artwork here is a form of activism, education and awareness, an attempt to communicate our outrage, knowledge and hope. The artists here vary in their approaches but the message is clear: it’s time to stop the destruction and give peace a chance.
The artists shown in the Galleries here share a concern for the world, and a social consciousness that cares about human beings and the planet more than corporate profits or petty politics.
This site proudly reflects an abhorrence of war and its casualties, one of which is the truth.
It’s also expanding to include environmental art and you will find some of that here already. It’s becoming more clear every day that one of the most environmentally destructive forces on earth is war.
If you have artwork that reflects the anti-war philosophy or a pro-environment position, you can have a free gallery here.
And if you have a gallery here, you can sign up on this blog to write articles, post articles, post announcements of your shows, post when you have more artwork to display, post news stories, or write about more or less whatever you want. All the artists with a gallery here, or those who want one, can sign up to post here on the blog. Please contact me through the “contact” page and tell me you signed up, and then I will make you an author. That means you can then sign in to post articles. (I can’t leave it open because of high amounts of spam, etc.)
The curator and owner of AntiwarArtists.com is Shelly L. and some of my artwork is also in the galleries.
All galleries here may be added to at any time, so they are not static. Check back often and make sure you bookmark this evolving online gallery.
PEACE!
