"Peace is the evolution of mankind, and at this moment in history we are proving that man is still the animal-beast killing when threatened, banishing others that seem different, relying on instinct instead of thought. Peace is the absence of man-made death, the act of logic and reason, and the bond of humanity that we seem so intent to destroy. War is easy—history is written on the ease of killing each other! Peace demands that man reason for life instead of political gain, that we discard our notions of difference, our belief in gods, our drawing of boundaries, and our lust for power. For the sake of all life, I demand peace."
